Not so sure. My PCs suffers from some non-embedded programming. What high-end embedded devices would not suffer?

High-end mobile phones only works reasonably well with their Java code and garbage collects for the simple reason that the manufacturers tries to deliver them with applications at the "better" and of the scale. But when installing new apps from other sources, you'll quickly notice what happens when the developer don't think "lean".
