I have not got any of this Atmel series.
However many other chips enter the bootloader with pushing the RESET button with PSEN button already pushed. When the RESET button is released, /PSEN is low. You can normally release the PSEN button now. The system is often automated by the RTS and DTR lines on your RS232 connection. This saves wear and tear on your fingers. Obviously you read your own data sheet and FLIP docs. David. |
