If you look at all the help requests from people who are stuck with I2C, you'll notice that a dedicated I2C controller doesn't automagically solve the problem.
There wouldn't be so much documents at: http://www.esacademy.com/en/librar...c-bus.html if I2C was really easy to learn and to use. And it isn't trivial for people to use an oscilloscope to figure out what happens, and figure out what should have happened. And it isn't trivial for people to realize that they need a way to resynchronize the I2C bus in case they have had some spurious clock signal. |
