#168549 - P89V51RD2 from NXP programming problem Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thanks for the quick reply.
Just after posting my query (before I read the replies), I tried programming the boot loader to BLOCK1 and my code to BLOCK0, I tried with two versions of boot loader which I got from Andrew's website, still no success. I have also downloaded the data sheet from SST, could not find any obvious answers. On a fresh device, by oversight, I had enabled the double clock bit and then programmed, since I wanted to reset the device back to single clock mode, I had erased both the BLOCK0 and BLOCK1, could this have anything to do with the chip now not working. I will try as suggested, by getting the boot loader from the NXP site. John. |
