re Vinculum economics? If you're just starting out, surely it would be more economic to just choose an appropriate processor (with USB Host) in the first place? There are several ARM7s & Cortex-M3s with USB Host (or "On-The-Go", OTG)... generally I would agree, but the $5 (qty) Vinculum save you all software development (of course, if the ARM comes with usaable 'canned' USB software, that is irrelevant) Erik |
