From my survey's of end customers and engineering customers... there is a strong demand for PEN drive (USB stick), because they can stick the pen driver in to "just about" any PC running MS Vista/XP or Linux and the Pen drive enumerates as an extra hard driver.
SD, MMC of CF's card while much easier to implement require additional card readers (granted some PC and laptops have inbuilt card readers_. Some ARM7 processors have USB host / OTG requirements to read PEN drives and manipulate the FAT file format. Joe |
