Yes, might be worth a quick look - I'd need to check the licence though, in case it can only be used for infineon products. I have also been in contact with someone who has the 'old' Keil compiler and who is prepared to do a bit of contract work for us.

On the SDCC front, the problems I found were indeed down to a bug, and a bug in the processor independent stuff so it affects more than just the 8051 target. I believe the developers are working on it but it was too late for the 2.9.0 release!
