Thanks Neil,
Yes, I need to take a good care of the analogue input circuitry. The ATmega32 board I use is development board only. I feed the signal straight to the ADC input to test. Due to unforeseen change of the project's objectives, now I am required to get an ADC circuit has at least 1mV resolution (not 5mV resolution). I have been using ADS7813 (ADC chip) + MPC508 (multiplexer) on other projects. The projects work well, but that option (ADC circuit) is too expensive. I think the ADuC847 (24 bit ADC)or ADuC848 (16 bit ADC) could do the the same job, but far cheaper. Furthermore, I have both Keil and IAR compilers. They both support ADuc845/7/8. That's much more convenient for me to work on that as well. |
