#161272 - ADuC845/7/8 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Dave,
Thanks for your understanding and kindness. It was my mistake when acquired information for several issues. In regard to your post: 1. Is your project hardware already designed? Yes or No, not with ADuC845/7/8 controller. Actually, I have been working on ATmega32 controller (10 channel - 10 bit ADC) for this project, but only to find out that the accuracy is not good enough. I cannot get the reading of any where near 5mV above or below the true reading as calculated (5000mV/1024 = 4.8828mV/count)for the reading range 0-5V. When I find out about ADuC845/7/8, I decided that either of ADuC847 (24 bit ADC) or ADuC848 (similar to ADuC847, but 16 bit ADC) would be good enough. I have ordered the evaluation board(EVAL-ADUC847QSZ) and will probably receive it next week. 2. Which processor voltage will you use? 5V (ADUC847BSZ62-5) 3. Which LCD will you use? 2x16 standard character 4. Which flash memory device will you use? No, I don't acquire the data so often and store a lot of data. I only need to store 5 to 10 reading in the 4K Flash/EE memory of ADuC847. I have programmed EEPROM, Nand flash, etc... but never on this type of memory I think I am OK with LCD configuration, a bit trouble with ADC conversion (to make sure it's right) and Flash/EE memory read/write. The problem is I have spent too much time on the ATmega32 controller and now running out of time to complete the project. Any advice from you guy would be very much appreciated! |
