#161203 - EzLCD-004 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I just started using one of these displays, and I purchased the EZ-NOW interface board, that converts the voltage through a max232 driver to standard RS-232 levels. My display is about 3 feet from the micro, which also uses the max232 driver. I just run a standard 9-pin DSUB between both, and everything works fine at 115.2k baud...
If you notice on the back of the display, there are 4 threaded standoffs. Here, you can either put your own PCB or you can buy the EZ-NOW board, and stuff only what you want... |
