The LCD display is powered with 5V but all of the data comm is 3V3.
My board is powered with 5V but I use a LDO and convert all Vcc on the board to 3V3 for a 3V3 data comm to and from the display. I'll take a look at the 74S1053 solution. My concern is that when the testing lab gets hold of the final design they zap it with a 10Kv wand to check for ESD problems and I don't want them to fry my MCU. I can't add components at the LCD side as it would void their warranty. |
