Hi all members:
With out a schematic and no information on TA2008 for 8 pin device which is different than the standard TA2008 device. I quess I should just give up on fixing this ir transmitter. The thing that makes it so hard is the smd components and also no schematic to show how it should work! The needle test leads arrived so I will try an read as many components as I can and hope one or more are shorted or open. If it turns out to be the special TA2008 device game over.
