what a surprise the '51 uses far less memory than cortex @ floating point not a surprise, this is the thing always forgotten when comparing ARM and '51 http://community.silabs.com/t5/32-bit...63#U194663 yes, the '51 is clocked faster than the ARM in the above, but the rumor about how miserable the '51 is in comparison is blatantly false. again it is an application issue I have used the ARM in 4 of my last 5 projects |
