Freescale appears to be a relatively standalone I'm not so sure about that - they seem to have been very quick to obliterate all "Freescale" branding, and re-brand everything as "NXP" Jan Waclawek said:
The NXP part still stands firmly on the no-8-bitter-anymore position, e.g. in http://www.nxp.com/documents...E-EASY.pdf they say it clearly LOL! But that document seems to be purely NXP - no mention of any of the ex-Freescale parts - and the timeline stops at 2015. So maybe it's just from before the Freescale people had a chance to knock some sense into them? |
