Do you still use '51s, Steve?
Last time I used one professionally was 10 years ago. Since then, two minor hobby projects some 5 years ago. Oh, and wrote a CRC32 routine, this year... (on request). Meantime, used AVRs a lot, but lately even those in slave setting to an ARM (thus wrote most of the stuff for that ARM). I hate the Arduino syndrome, but let's face it, it's the reality. Demand for real quality is scarce. I'm afraid this is the reason for silence: no [mostly garage-scale] users, no hobbyists... no discussion. Jan |
