#190036 - Input current Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Raghunathan,
Does, "AC Current 1.4A operating and Cold Start Inrush 45A" mean that if you push more than 1.4 A into the input that you'll fry something? Or does it mean that you need to make sure your supply can source at least that much current? If the SMPS starts sucking more than 1.4 A, then something in the SMPS is already failing. The breaker is only there to protect the wiring from melting and bursting into flames if the SMPS does fail and start sucking up more current. I should think a 2A trip point would do that quite nicely. Good luck, Joe |
