#187419 - Acceleration Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The math needed here uses position input to know where things are located now. Being able to monitor and control velocity will permit you to predict where things will be at a future time. If the comparison of future time positions of two items is not where you want them then it is necessary for you to profile the controllable velocity of one or both items to change the outcome of the future time position. Controlling the velocity is an acceleration problem -- i.e. rate of change of velocity per unit of time.
