You can go around calling yourself a software engineer spend all your time working with huge bloated software libraries which hide the details of the hardware from the softies, and then they go 'oh anyone can do embedded stuff' and they have absolutely no idea. As soon as they are taken away from the security of looking it up on the web they are lost.
How can a software guy not know how to write a bubble sort? linked lists, bubble sorts and memory copyies are what everyone learns. |
