#186320 - stupid interview |
I was interviewing a guy for a software role yesterday, he wasnt any good for the role so I was pretty annoyed to start with and then he tried to show me this code he had bought along from his previous job.
The first thing I asked him was' do you have permission to show me this, it clearly says you need written permision' and he goes 'er no' so I could be sued for even having this in my office. So he tried to impress me with stolen code, he couldnt draw me a state transistion diagram, he tried to tell me that DRR3 memory has low latency and he couldn't write a bubble sort routine even when I helped him. Sometimes you kind of despare, no wonder ive got smart phone applications with 100Meg of source code if this is the standard of people they churn out from spunkbridge polyversity |
