Though the hardware may be 10x or even 100x as fast as needed, the software will make it perform half as fast as the previous, slower hardware.
That's why the work should be done in a language that will produce executable code as fast as the hardware is capable of going. I'm told that JAVA is not that language. I wouldn't know, of course. RE |
