I just had email returned from the fellow who posted the information on the web page I linked. He claims that he made up the device construction but never tested it. Apparently he got feedback from someone else that did build it and tried it out. They reported that it worked just fine and so he considered his work finished.
I've now hand built a similar device using the FTDI module from Mouser Electronics -- http://www.mouser.com/ProductDe...upuvuS8tlk -- and intend to try it out this holiday weekend. Michael Karas |
