Maarten, The data sheet for the cable shows this specific information on its page 16 (Appendix A). 
The data sheet also includes a schematic diagram for the electronics of the cable. It shows the FT232HQ along with an external 12MHz crystal and an external SPI type serial EEPROM with part number 93LC56B in a SOT-23 package. Michael Karas |
