Diode is forward biased. Gray zone for me is behavior of FET - transistor is connected with Drain to negative terminal of battery.
This circuit is not my, in TexasInstrument's paper was drawn only one resistor - between Gate and battery. Gate-Source resistor keeps (probably) transistor closed, when battery connection is reversed. regards |
