Dumb b@stards put a 1µF cap on the RST line ... the result of copying the SILabs schematic
Anyhow there are all kinds of copies of the SILabs devboards floating around, some MAY be good, but, as an example, one was using a 5V MAX232 powered by the 3V3 on the board. I can see some jokers being tempted by a freely available schematic (who cares about that copyright stuff, anyhow). Erik |
