If the datasheet isn't specific in this point, then it seems that it doesn't matter what kind of cap you take. I would use a standard 100µF/16V aluminium electrolytic paralleled by 100nF/X7R. This electrolytic has a moderate ESR of about 0.5R and should be ok with this regulator.
