#3 is number three to me too, but # on its own is not immediately number to me (or vice versa).
I was unaware that the backslash is a slash and the slash / is a stroke. For 'hat' and 'wavy thing' I would have to guess what was meant, the rest I know. I'm sure that 'apestaartje' for @ was chosen because it starts with an 'a', unlike 'hondenstaartje' (dogtail), 'kattenstaartje' (cats tail) or 'varkensstaartje' (pigtail). It looks after all like an 'a' with a tail wrapped around it. |
