#180977 - Multiple Mux Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The problem is, the device A and B are not in my control. A is a machine which is being monitored by B. They are existing products. My device C is similar to B and needs to monitor A. Because of this, C requires RX/TX lines to be tapped.
To be more precise, A is a UPS from a third party supplier. B is a ready made SNMP agent that is made by me. C is a GSM based monitoring device made by me. Both SNMP agent and GSM monitoring card requires parameters from UPS. SNMP agent keeps querying the UPS, every 500 ms through serial port. GSM card does the querying when it recieves a GSM command. So I need both GSM card and SNMP agent in the RS232 line! Also, cannot add a pass through MAX 232 to SNMP Agent. |
