ASEM-51 is one of my favorite tools, as I find it to be a really useful MACRO-assembler. Since I like using macros, I appreciate this feature. The majority of the assemblers I've seen included with compilers are NOT macro-capable in the way ASEM-51 is, as they don't support the assignment of macros within the assembly language.
BASIC-52 is not a compiler either. It, in the version with which I'm acquainted, is an interpreter. Now, there is a BASCOM, which is a compiler of sorts, but it's not FREE. RE |
