A website that makes it more difficult to find the chips the potential customers want will not help sell more of their chips. It will help sell their competitors' chips.
If those very people making the decisions, or even the recommendations, would look at the website before making such decisions, they'd not allow it to become such a mess. They've probably simply hired someone's nephew and allowed him to ruin their site. That's not a sound basis for decisions, is it? IF it's the CEO's nephew, nobody will have the "stones" to tell the CEO what a mess it is. If that's how they make their decisions, then I'd rather invest in oil or military hardware manufacturing.
