#177878 - That site...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I do not think much of that site. Right off the top this dude states that he's new to hobby electronics and he is pretty dumb. This does not sound like a recipe for success to be going and following what this dude is trying to do.

Secondly this page describes programming gadgets for AVR microcontrollers. These would not be at all suitable for some 8052 type microcontroller variant.

Thirdly keep in mind that every particular variant of an 8052 will have its own unique behaviors regarding to how you go about getting it programmed.

Personally I would recommend that you look into finding an MCU that can be programmed in-circuit on some type of evaluation board. I can recommend some if you want so let me know.

If the problem for you to move forward with a modern type eval board is a shortage of cash to purchase it then let me make the following suggestion. Why don't you sort out some of the items in that truck load of parts and equipment that you have. Find the things that may have some real value to other folks and offer them for sale on eBay. Take the proceeds that you get and buy the eval board.
