#177614 - Where we lives

[...] you just don't get local stores/shops stocking electronic components!

In the part of the world where we lives.

The local hobby shop has normal pinned resistors, some LEDs, a couple of diodes and transistors. But just about enough to build a blinky or a siren or similar. As soon as you need specific components, they always needs to be bought online. Too few hobbyists to make it meaningful for a local store - and even if the city is large enough to have a store, the prices would probably be high enough that online purchases would be the natural thing. Besides - I can buy components online and have them next day.
