I use one of these:
http://www.pctestinstruments.com/ I bought it based on a couple of recommendations on here and I've found that it fits my needs. It's also small, light and low cost. Andy How well does the sample compression work? In a number of situations, 2048 samples seems so very small. When processing serial data packets, it isn't uncommon that the each packet may be quite large, and it may be needed to capture several messages in each direction. With two samples/bit, a maximum of 128 bytes of data can be captured, unless the unit supports a longer trace buffer when not all channels are used. |
