Ive been working on a hardware design for a bit of a research project which me and Steve have been working on, dropped and then working on, which may just possibly turn into something as a small commercal thing or may just stay researchy.
Ive done a bit of the embedded code but there is still quite a bit needs doing and there is a server type application needs writting.If anyone is interested this is being done very much as a spare time job but I am getting snowed under with my real job, anyone who helps out may get their name on a research paper. You need to be able to work with custom hardware the specification for which is in my head and server application spec which consists of handwaving. if anyone is interested let me know. Prolly doesn't sound too attractive but it is an interesting project to do with big telescopes, timing of events with 50 pico seconds resolution and weird stuff,its been up in the air for a while but its moving forward now |
