#174741 - Jans "well layered system" made me think of Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I, many, many moons ago, in the pre-PC days when work was done on paper first, worked for a manager that NEVER, and I MEAN never, waited till something was finished before having another task that was more important. Now the offices were to be upgraded and one morning they stacked a lot of 2*4 foot ceiling tiles in my office. Then when the manager came and said "do this first" I put a ceiling tile on top of my desk and started the next job on it. When I had to stand up he got the message. Unfortunately he did not take it to heart, a month later it was the same again.
