#174577 - Video capture not wanted |
Hi to all members:
I been trying to interface my laptop to my digital video recorder AV output with out much success. It seems most interfaces for the pc are video capture devices which I do not want. All I would like to do is take my AV output from the Dvr and put it on the pc's screen. I guess biggest problem is I can only gain input to the pc through the Usb port. So I tryed buying video capture devices which did not work. They all want to do is put video on my hard drive first then make a file let me watch a movie or tv. I also tryed tv tuners but then their is no video connection. So is their device being sold that will let me watch anything off Dvr's AV output that I could watch live on pc? I want this only so I can edit all tv programs on the Dvr. As they add up very fast and I am editing them out all a time. For now I been using small tv, but would like use my laptop instead of tv which would give me more room to do my electronics. Does any one have any ideas or know of product I am looking for? Thanks for any help. Best regards, Ralph Sac |
