#173580 - Machine Vision? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Here's a good one. Use a cheap digital camera (USB type) that is hooked to a laptop and create a program capable of detecting a human face. Use face recognition software to know if it really is an intruder. One could also record events and store them just in case the criminals needed to be caught. You might not need a laptop. One could use cheaper hardware. My guess is that you have pets. I have been thinking of a security solution, as well. I still think that recording video or taking a picture would be best because one still needs to know "who done it", otherwise, there really is no point as security has been breached and now what? |
