#173301 - Effort/Reward Ratio Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Everybody,
I think Jon's link speaks directly to the bottom line of this proposition. I have no doubt that it's possible to print directly onto a Cu-clad board. I question that it's worth doing. In the end, after much effort, you've only eliminated the photoprocess. I think it's much easier to just laser print artwork onto transparancy and develope the board. Now if you could eliminate the etching process, that would be something to write home about. So if we're going to brainstorm something, let's brainstorm a question that's worthwhile. What would be necessary to print conductors directly onto FR4? Joe |
