Hi Jez
Back in 1989 I and a friend tried printing directly to the Cu-clad board, and viscosity was indeed the biggest problem. 10 mil traces didn't stay 10 mils. And with broadening of the trace we also observed increasing translucense. We were using a pen-plotter though, so an ink-jet printer might be workable. While we are all showing our ages, I remember that you could get little knives that fit into the HP7475A plotter carousel. These knives would cut out traces on rubylith. -a |
