I know of no ADC that can handle 20v common.

I would float (i.e. no 'ground') the transducer and the ADC and optocouple it to the rest.

another way (which would, most likely increase noise) would be divide the inputs in half and feed to a differential op amp running at +-15V

Are you sure that transducer to ADC w/o amplification is the best way?
