#172465 - How to cite references
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Discussing books, it helps to use the full title, and to spell the authors name correctly.

I think one of the first things we were taught at University was how to cite references correctly.
The essential information is:

Author;
Title of the work;
Publisher.

For a book, the ISBN is a unique identifier (but note that hardback, softback, and other such variations will each have a different ISBN).
