What I think he wants to do doesn't involve the ALTERA dongle. He wants to program his FPGA from a PIC microcontroller that's part of his circuit.
Here's how it appears so from his original post. ... I am using PIC18F2550, but if anyone has done using 8051 based controller, it will be useful. Specifically, if anyone can guide me about the file formats of Altera, I will be thankful. People do that sort of thing from time to time, and I once read quite a bit of ALTERA literature regarding various ways of getting it done. It didn't seem to require any extensive knowledge of the ALTERA file structures. I did decide against it, however. RE |
