Surely there is an Indonesian Seismology institute ? PREDICTING earthquakes is a very barely understood science - and a little tremor doesn't mean that a big one will follow, at least not here, but in the Pacific ring it might be different.
Your cheap seismograph might make people panic. Better to build something to test concrete and make sure people have used the right grade and the right amount of steel. I can't see any references to geo-seismographs using cheap accelerometers. Can you point me to any ? Steve |
