#165872 - maybe building
Responding to: ???'s previous message
PC stuff is not applicable, keypad will be part of our device.
As example - membrane keyboard is used in known ATEX weighing products (with metal case). We use custom membranes too in non-EX weigh scales, and i've asked our suplyer for conductive / static dissipative overlays , and i'm waiting for answwer.
In meantime i'm searching for alternatives, focussing on non-plastic, or plastic-hidden variants.
There are many different underwater stones , related to ATEX-approval - plastic must be with ohmic resistance below some value OR to be with dimension under some square centimeters in total.
Very interesting is MTOUCH inductive technology by Microchip, but is on to too early stage, i think.
I am just in begginning, this area is new for me, so i'm searching for advises.
regards
