Maybe some of the big manufacturers do not fabricate them any longer because of chinese and other companies do it. But the 62C256 will hardly disappear from the market due to this. It's an extremely widely used memory chip which will be demanded even the next many years.
By the way, you can also take a bigger RAM in combination with 8051... Kai |
