#162015 - Flip-flops Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I think you are looking for a D type flip-flop. Comes in various widths per package, usually 2,4,6, & 8. With a D type FF the output equals the input after the clock cycle, hence no transparency. The lower count packages also offer complimentary outputs. A common two-bit package is the SN74HC74, four bit package SN74HC173, six bit SN74HC174, eight bit SN74HC273 non-inverting outputs and SN74HC534 for inverting outputs. Just Google on the chip numbers and you can get all the info you'll need. |
