#161800 - To Bluetooth or not Bluetooth
Hi To all members:

I have been using Lexmark X1154 printer and scanner for few years. But it did not come factory optioned with Bluetooth. Is their a way to impliment Bluetooth or some other protocol to send wireless to my printer. Usually I do my pc work on the kitchen table which is not ok with my wife but since it's a laptop ok with me. However running 15 foot Usb printer cable every time I use the printer is little bit of a pain. The problem is I really don't fully understand Bluetooth. So I talked to retired engineer that I knew and he said he did not understand fully either. I though I could use two Bluetooth devices. One one pc and one on the printer. But I think Bluetooth is a send only device? So what would I put on printer so I can rec. on printer? I beleive if my printer were factory Bluetooth ready then all I would have do is purchase Bluetooth dogle for pc. BTW the computer I am using is inspiron 1525 Dell duo Intel core. Using windows Vista software which comes with usb ports.

Best regards,

Ralph Sac
