A lot of PSU need a load on +12V and (at least) one of +3V3 or +5V.
Some PSU will not even turn on without load. It can probably be good to have a little load on the negative voltages too. It is impossible to know the requirements for your specific PSU. But it wouldn't hurt if you have something else that you can drive from the PSU. LED or halogen light around your workplace? :) |
