It was a bit of a joke, indeed the firat one I had did not work, I beleive due to defective silicon, Sinclair allegedly had a reputation for DELIBERATELY using defective components, so the thing wouldn't work, and so you'd use his premium "repair" service, where, knowing which component was duff, he could swap it out for minimal cost. Clever, but nasty. Allegedly - I know a lot of old-timer guys who say its true. Steve |
