I'm troubled by the claim that this is built entirely with off-the-shelf components, yet there's no hint of a component list. That case/keyboard combination looks less-than-off-the-shelf to me. Perhaps it's scavenged from something else, but that doesn't make it "off-the-shelf." After all, if you have to tear up a cellphone, or whatever, to get the case, it's not really built from available components.
In general, there seems to be a dearth of RPN calculators these days. Those of us who got used to "real" calculators, back in the days when HP made the majority of the "serious" ones available, might prefer RPN. I certainly would. RE |
