I would absolutotally LOVE an optimizer setting that did all optimization EXCEPT "threading".
that way you would get the optimal optimization possible without affecting debugging. The only effect of "threading" is code space savings, so that way even if you were to use "threading" for the product, the timing etc in the non-threaded debug build would be the same
